As a(n) Project Management Professional (PMP), urban planner, and consultant, Brian is interested in the design nexus between transportation systems, real estate development, and vacant spaces to prompt new interactions between strangers.
His experience lies in facilitating design processes to increase the quality of life at the neighborhood, city, and state levels. He has worked in transportation policy development, real estate acquisition, planning, and implementation, product design and development, strategic partnerships, and space management.
He currently serves as a Board Director with the Flint Collective NYC and has active membership with the American Planning Association, Project Management Institute, and the Urban Land Institute. He was recognized by Next City as one of the top 40 rising urban thought leaders in 2019.
He holds a BS in Urban and Regional Planning from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a MA in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
